This book is a continuation of the series that begun with Camera’s Coast, in which myriad objects from Historic New England’s archives tell stories with their scrapbook-style arrangements. For example, in the third image from bottom, otherwise unrelated illustrations and book covers are placed together to develop the visual theme of rescue.
